Hello! I’m Andrew Amouzou, and I am a Journalism major from Schaumburg, Illinois. Already in my junior year, I have been blessed to experience the many opportunities that Marquette has to offer. Specifically in the College of Comm, my experiences with the Marquette Wire are ones that I will cherish forever.
From writing my first article for the Tribune in 2019 to serving as the incoming Executive Director of the organization, the Wire has inspired me to pursue a career in TV Broadcasting in every way. Being a recipient of the 2022 Axthelm Scholarship, encourages me to keep pushing and having faith in what lies ahead. Soon, I hope to be a recognizable face on television as a news or sports TV broadcaster.
